1. What are the important dates that I should be aware of?

31st October! And deadline for registration and payment is 28th

2. Can I register as an individual?

Unfortunately, we do not consider individual registrations. You must register as one contingent

3. How many teams/players can we send per individual game?

We can take up to a maximum of 2 teams/players, subject to availability. You will still have to pay and meet the deadlines, but we will refund you if the spot becomes unavailable. The reason for this limit is firstly, we want to encourage participation from other universities as well and secondly, we want to be fair in terms of awarding the overall champion. We do understand that some Malaysian Societies consist of students from more than one University. If this is the case, then register as two different contingents

4. What happened to swimming? I thought you were going to organise it?

We have been trying to organise it, however, logistically, we are unable to do it this year

5. Can we pay by cash?

Registration fees need to be paid prior to the Games before/on the day of the deadline unless special circumstances have been granted by us. We do not accept any cash payments on the day itself

6. How do I get to University of Nottingham?

If you're travelling by train, stop at Nottingham train station. Walk to Broadmarsh Bus Station, take the Indigo bus to University of Nottingham South Entrance. You can walk to Sports Centre, or take our free shuttle bus from Portland Building. Click here for a map of University of Nottingham. If you're travelling by bus, National Express stops right in the middle of the University. If you're driving, the coordinates are: latitude 52°56'17.6712", longitude -1°11'53.5056", and the postcode to key in is NG7 2RD. If by plane, Nottingham is served by East Midlands Airport, and Birmingham Airport

7. What time should I arrive in University of Nottingham compound?

Between 7am and 8am. The opening ceremony is scheduled to start at 8am. Please note that this year, the University is strict with buses coming into its compound, and as such, please assure that you arrive after 7am since the gates will only open at 7am. Buses must be park at the designated areas

8. We might arrive late. What should we do?

If you expect to arrive later than 8am, do inform us of your expected time of arrival. If you expect to arrive earlier than 7am, also let us know so that we can help cater to your needs

9. What is this I heard about a coupon system?

Food purchases during the day (at the Malaysian Food Festival) will be made via coupons, available on the day of the Games. They will be sold at 5 pounds per book. With purchases of 20 pounds, you will be entered into a lucky draw where the first prize is a return ticket back to Malaysia!

10. Do you provide accommodation?

We really really hope that we can. However, we are unable to provide accommodation. Having said that, do stay till Sunday! Ask us if you may require accommodation. Nottingham people are very friendly and may even let you stay overnight! Alternatively, hotels, bed and breakfast, YMCA - all are available in Nottingham. Just Google them or check out this link
